SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH- Family History Library
I schedule week long research trips every 4-6 weeks, as it is the largest genealogical library in the world. It houses records from all over the world. (Cemetery records, federal and state census records, church records, county histories, court records, land and tax records, military records and vital records.)
WASHINGTON, D.C.
Yearly trips are scheduled in April to the Daughters of the American Revolution Library and National Archives.
The DAR Library not only has information on Revolutionary War soldiers and patriots, but it has unique cemetery and family histories that are not available anywhere else.
Some of the National Archives' holdings are available on microfilm at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, such as the War of 1812 and Civil War Pension Indexes, but the actual files are only accessible at the Archives in Washington, D.C.
